We collect personal information when you use our platform, including when you register an account, create a business listing, interact with other users, or contact us. We use, these basic data only for legitimate business purposes, ensuring transparency and control. You have the right to access, correct, and request the deletion of your data. a) Name, email address, business phone number, and Business details. (All of these are optional apart from a valid email address which is needed to create an account)
b) These a basic information we need to provide our service to you
c) Payment information if you purchase any services or features. This is solely for invoices. (we do not store these details on our website)
d)Other information you voluntarily provide when using the platform.
e)As a business listing platform, we advise you to only make information public that you want the public or users to see such as business numbers, emails to enable users to contact you for business. You however have the liberty to hide this information from the public in your account privacy settings.
f) Our platform also makes it possible for other users to interact with your business such as giving reactions to your business status updates and more . You how ever have the liberty to block unwanted users from doing this.
g) Contact forms exists on your business listing page where users can send emails directly to your email address without having a hold of your email. We advise all our users to use these contact forms for business purposes or enquiry only. Please Note: responding to these emails is at your discretion as it is not done via our platform ..
h) To further protect your privacy, you have the ability to ban or block certain users or emails from sending repeated messages on your business listing page's contact form.
3. Data Storage and Security.
We store your personal information on secure dedicated servers and take reasonable precautions protect it from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. We implement industry-standard security measures, such as encryption, firewalls, and secure access protocols. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we will notify all user by their nominated email address in file as soon as possible in case we feel any information might have been compromised.

a) Trading: We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties without your consent We do not use any of your information for direct marketing unless you consent and it is allowed under the Consumer Data Right Rules. .
b) Oversea Sharing: We do not share your personal information with any third parties or disclose it overseas unless reacquired by law.
c) Legal Compliance: We may disclose personal information when required to do so by law or to comply with a valid legal request, such as a court order, or to protect our legal rights . In the event that sharing is required by a Court Order we will inform you about what information are requested and ensure your information is served in a secure and only for the purpose intended.
d) We engage third-party providers to perform functions related to our services for payment processing, these service providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and are not permitted to use your personal information for any other purpose. For example, Payment Service providers such as PayPal. ANZ, Stripe, WooCommerce, etc may need your name or basic information to process a payment.
8. Google Maps Integration:
We use google maps picker to help you locate the area of operation of your business. such as South Perth or North Melbourne, Choosing the location of your business is at your sole discretion but we also refrain you from giving false and misleading location of your business. A public place not more than 5km away is enough for our platform to know your business is located in North Perth which helps users located businesses around them. Location data used for Google Maps classifications is anonymized and limited to Country, State and City..
9 Posting Guidelines:
· Users are expected to post accurate and lawful content. Content must align with our community standards and terms of use.
10.Deletion of Content:
· SmallAfrica reserves the right to remove posts, articles, or business listings that:
a) Violate our policies or community guidelines.
b) Contain false, offensive, or harmful information.
c) Are deemed irrelevant or inappropriate for the platform.
11 . User Age Limit
· SmallAfrica is intended for users aged 18 and above. By accessing our platform, you confirm that you meet this age requirement

You can access or update your personal information by logging into your account at anytime. You have full control of the information you provide.
13. Content Deletion:
If you wish to delete your posts, articles, or business listings, you may do so through your account dashboard or by contacting our support team.
14. Account Deletion:
Users can request account deletion at any time. Upon deletion, all associated data will be removed from our systems, except where retention is required by law.

17. Refund Policy:
As our platform operates on a pay-per-listing and advertisement model, with no commitment. We do not offer standard refunds. All payments are final and non-refundable once the service is activated. Since there are no long-term commitments or subscriptions, you pay only for the services used. How ever, in some cases beyond your control, we can tangible and compassionate reasons for a refund, for example, you opened your business today, get it listed for $20 for a 12months period, and the very next day your business stopped operating because of a natural disaster or something beyond your control. In rare cases like this, we can both accept on compassionate grounds to process a refund calculated on a time used factor, these are compassionate cases and we reserve the sole right to come to an agreement.
