Scope
This Esafty policy applies to all users, content creators, employees, and administrators of SmallAfrica. It covers all types of content, including but not limited to videos, images, text, and comments.
Prohibited Content
SmallAfrica strictly prohibits the upload, sharing, or distribution of harmful content, including:
Cyberbullying Material: Content intended to harass, intimidate, or humiliate individuals, including children and adults.
Abusive or Threatening Content: Material that incites violence or promotes hatred. Non-Consensual Intimate Images: Any intimate images or videos shared without the consent of the person depicted.
Prohibited Content: Content classified as Refused Classification (RC) or otherwise restricted by the Australian Classification Board.
Harmful or Offensive Content: Any material deemed harmful by the eSafety Commissioner.
Content Monitoring and Review
We prohibit the upload, distribution, or sharing of harmful content, including but not limited to: Cyberbullying material targeted at Australian adults or children Abusive or threatening content Non-consensual intimate images Prohibited or restricted online content classified by the Australian Classification Board
We use and manual review processes to monitor content uploaded to SmallAfrica. The platform actively scans for harmful material to ensure compliance with legal standards.
User Reporting Users can report harmful content through our dedicated reporting system All reports are reviewed promptly by our moderation team. Internal Moderation Our moderation team conducts routine checks to ensure content meets our safety guidelines. Content flagged as potentially harmful is immediately reviewed and, if necessary, removed.
Cooperation with the eSafety Commissioner: SmallAfrica fully cooperates with the eSafety Commissioner to ensure a safe online environment. Response to Removal Notices Upon receiving a notice from the eSafety Commissioner, we will remove or disable access to the specified harmful content within the legally mandated timeframe.
Documentation of the removal process will be maintained for audit and compliance purposes. Assistance and Information Requests We will provide any requested information or assistance to the eSafety Commissioner, including user account details, content metadata, and other relevant information as permitted by law.
User Responsibilities
Users of SmallAfrica are responsible for ensuring that their content complies with this policy and Australian online safety laws.
Prohibited Actions

Consequences of Violations

Compliance Monitoring and Policy Updates
We regularly review and update our compliance policies to reflect changes in legal requirements and best practices.Training Staff members are trained on the requirements of the Online Safety Act 2021 and effective content moderation practices.
